1 O let my supplicating cry
by you, my gracious LORD, be heard.
Give wisdom and deliver me
according to your faithful word.

2 Instructed in your holy law,
to praise your word I lift my voice.
Come, LORD, and be my present help,
for your commandments are my choice.

3 For your salvation I have longed,
my joy is in your law, O LORD.
Now, let me live, your praise to sing;
sustain me by your holy word.

4 Your servant, like a wandering sheep,
has lost the path and gone astray.
Restore my soul and lead me home,
for your commands I would obey.
