1 We sing Thy high praises, Lord Jesus, aloud,
For Thou hast redeem'd us to God by Thy blood;
Rejoicing before Thee, Thy name we confess,
All hail Thee our Saviour, our Hope, and our Peace.

2 Now passed into heaven, exalted to bless,
How great is Thy mercy, compassion, and grace;
Thy sceptre how righteous, Thy statutes how wise,
Rejoicing the heart, and enlightening the eyes.

3 Oh Jesus, Thy greatness we love to proclaim,
Thy truth and Thy kindness, for ever the same;
We look for Thy coming and trust Thy sure word,
That soon we shall enter the joy of the Lord.

4 The voice of th' archangel, the trumpet of God,
