1 Great fountain of our life and peace!
Still make Thy righteous cause increase:
O take Thy mighty power and reign,
Thou Lamb of God that once was slain!

2 As doves, whose numbers cloud the sky,
Successive to their windows fly,
From realms remote, exalted King,
Thy chosen sons and daughters bring.

3 Make poor, dejected Zion shine:
O let her interest, Lord, be Thine!
Fill her with sons of heavenly birth
And make her glorious in the earth.
