157. Faint Not, Doubt Not

1 Faint not, doubt not, but from day to day,
Rest upon the promise of a faithful Lord,—
Follow gladly where He leads the way,
Trusting in His sure, unfailing Word.

Soul, have faith in Christ the Lord,
He will walk the way beside thee;
Trust His love and grace unfailing,
And in safety He will guide thee.

2 He will ever shelter thee from harm,
For the Lord is able to defend His own;
Safe art thou in His protecting arm,
