5. The Lord Will Provide

1 Know ye not the grace of Jesus;
How for us He left His throne,
That He might from death release us,
And adopt us as His own?

2 Know ye not the joy and blessing
His acknowledged friends receive,
Riches, honors, life, possessing,
If to Him we truly cleave?

3 Heaven’s blessings rich, descending,
Crown with joy each thankful heart;
Jesus’ love and peace unending
Bless each one who takes a part.

4 Precious is the Lord’s providing,
Sign of His unfailing grace;
Evermore in Him confiding,
Waiting till we see His face.
