73. He Rolls the Sea Away

1 Upon the shore of Egypt’s sea
Stood Israel in dismay,
But God came down in grace and pow’r,
And rolled the sea away.

2 Behind them was king Pharaoh’s host,
Before, the waters lay;
God made a pathway thro’ the deep;

3 The God who wrought in olden time
Is just the same today;
He brings deliv’rance to His own,
And rolls the sea away. [Refrain]

4 It matters not that troubles come
And seem to close the way;
God has the power as of old
To roll the sea away. [Refrain]
