1 Christians, I am on my journey!
Ere I reach the narrow sea,
I would tell the wondrous story,
What the Lord has done for me.

Tho' a stranger here I roam,
I am on my way to Zion,
I'm a pilgrim going home.

2 I was lost, but Jesus found me,
Taught my heart to seek his face;
From a wild and lonely desert.
Brought me to His fold of grace. [Chorus]

3 Now my soul with rapture glowing,
Sings aloud His pard'ning love;
Looks beyond a world of sorrow,
To the pilgrims home above. [Chorus]

4 I shall yet behold my Saviour,
When the day of life is o'er,
I shall cast my crown before Him,
I shall praise Him evermore. [Chorus]
