24. Stand for the Right

1 Stand for the right, the right will surely win;
Stand in His might and face the host of sin;
No flag of truce, all compromise disdain,
Faith is the victory and Christ must reign.

Refrain:
Stand for the right, for God is on our side;
Stand in His might, whatever may betide;
God cannot fail, His name shall all confess,
He is the King and Lord of Righteousness.

2 Stand for the right, let others fail and fall;
Stand in His might wherever He may call;
The voice of Jesus calls you to the height,
Face tow’rd the rising sun of pace and light. [Refrain]

3 Stand for the right, the recompense is sure;
Stand in His might, be upright, brave and pure;
Pray without ceasing, seal each tho’t with prayer,
Feed on His word and trust His loving care. [Refrain]
