1 We have a good Shepherd, the Savior,
Who watches us all thro’ the day;
He fills ev’ry need
So wondrous, indeed,
And seeks us whenever we stray.

Keeping us hour by hour.

2 The pathway we travel is rugged,
And strewn with the pitfalls of sin;
But Jesus is near,
And why should we fear

And blessed communion have we;
Our sorrows He shares,
Our burdens He bears;
