33. Sowing Time

1 See, the morn is brighting
In the eastern sky;
Up! for work make ready,
Lie not idly by;
Hasten to the grain fields
With your precious seed;
Many willing workmen
Yet the Lord will need.

2 Sow the seeds of kindness
In your neighbor’s heart,

See the plantlets start;

Strangers may be there;
You may make them better
By the gift of pray’r;
Sow beneath the mountain,
While your strength is giv’n;
Sow till life is ended,
