1 We’re a faithful little band,
And we’re marching to that land,
That land of God on high;
We will march at his command,
And will reach the promised land,
We will anchor by and by.

How I must a Christian be,
To live at God’s right hand;

To the land for which we sigh;
We believe our happy band
Will reach the haven land,
