82. Valiant Soldiers

1 We’re a band of valiant soldiers,
Fighting for the truth and right;
We are foremost in the battle,
And we keep our armor bright.

Valiant soldiers, Christian soldiers,
In the army of the Lord;
We are fighting ’neath his banner,
We are trusting in his word.

2 Fierce and wild the battle rages,
Satan’s hosts are now in sight;
Let us meet them in the contest,
Trusting in our Captain’s might. [Refrain]

3 Come and join our noble army,
And to battle we will go;
Overthrow the pow’r of Satan,
Put to flight our ev’ry foe. [Refrain]
