1 In the restless days of toil and labor,
When your cares are hard to bear,
Just remember trials are not lasting,
Tho’ they often do appear.

Keep your heart-bells ringing, it will cast out fear;
If they jingle a little bit, it will bring good cheer;
Keep the music going, tho’ the day seems drear,

2 In the bright and early hours of morning,
When the mind and heart are clean,
Ask the Lord to give you strength and guidance
