1 Jesus, the children’s Friend, to Thee
We lift our hearts in prayer;
We love Thee though we do not see
Nor hear Thee anywhere.

2 And yet we know that Thou art near
To help us in our need;
And that our hearts should never fear
Since Thou art strong indeed.
