60. Pray Till the Victory Comes

1 As Jesus was standing on Olivet’s hill,
And with Him His own faithful few,
He said “Don’t depart from the city until
The fire shall fall upon you.”

Pray till the victory comes,

2 One hundred and twenty obeyed His command,
And tarried in His blessed name;
While in one accord, and believing His word,
The fiery baptism came. [Refrain]

3 “Just take it by faith,” you will hear many say,
And faith we must have, it is true;
But please don’t forget, the price must be paid,
If the fire would fall on you. [Refrain]

4 Now, brother, if you will give Jesus your all,
And do what He wants you to do,
He’ll grant your desire, and this very hour
The fire will fall upon you. [Refrain]
