8. Romans VI

1 I am not under law, I’m under grace,
As it tells me in His Word,
It is grace that provides for me a place
At the table of my Lord.

Refrain:
I am not, under law,
I’m under grace,
It is grace that rescued me,
It is grace that keeps me free,
I have sought,
I have found my hiding place,
I am not under law,
I’m under grace.

2 “Whether sin unto death, or righteousness,
In obedience alway,”
Know ye not that to whom yourselves ye yield,
Ye are His whom ye obey. [Refrain]

3 “Sin shall not have dominion over me,”
For in grace I shall abide,
And a servant of righteousness I’d be,
Since the Righteous for me died. [Refrain]

4 “For the wages of sin is death” indeed,
As ‘tis written in His Word,
But the gift of our God, eternal life,
Is thro’ Jesus Christ, the Lord. [Refrain]
