613. After Our Labors and Troubles

1 After our labors and troubles are o'er,
When we have met on heaven's fair shore,
Never a parting will cause us to sigh,
For there we never shall say Goodbye.

Refrain:
Nothing (naught will ever) will ever part us, (come to part us,)
In that home above; (our home above;)
We always shall be together, (abide together,)
Singing of His love. (His love.)
Our troubles will all be ended, (all be ended,)
Gone the tear and sigh, (tear and sigh,)
On that happy shore we shall part no more,
And will never say Goodbye.

2 Dear ones, gone over, again we shall meet;
Friends, parted long, each other will greet;
There to our hearts they will always be nigh,
For there we never shall say Goodbye. [Refrain]

3 There, at the feet of the Lamb we shall rest,
Singing His praise, and wondrously blest;
Never a teardrop will gleam in our eye,
For there we never shall say Goodbye. [Refrain]
