Text: | Great God of All, We Sing Your Praise |
Author: | Mary Nelson Keithahn |
Tune: | FRIENDS |
Composer: | John D. Horman |
Great God of all, we sing your praise
in different words, in different ways,
yet we are one, formed by your hand,
and called to live by your command.
You freely bless us from our birth
with all the treasures of the earth.
Make us wise stewards; help us share
these gifts entrusted to our care.
In times of trouble, times of grief,
in times of doubt and unbelief,
you walk with us, a loyal friend.
Make us as faithful to the end.
When we seek vengeance for a wrong,
you fill our hearts with mercy's song.
We yield to you our selfish pride.
Let justice reign and love abide.
Great God of all, with thankful hearts
for all the blessings you impart,
we sing your praise, our voices one,
from dawn of day to setting sun.
