108. He That Believeth

1 “He that believeth,” what a sweet and simple way;
Listen to Jesus, for he’s calling you today;
Come, all ye weary, hear the mighty Saviour say,
Come now to Jesus and believe.

Refrain:
He that believeth on the Son hath life;
Here is love, behold it!
God himself hath told it,
He that believeth on the Son hath life.

2 Hasten, O sinner, to the cross where Jesus died,
See where salvation flows, a fountain deep and wide;
Come and find cleansing in the blessed, saving tide,
Come now to Jesus and believe. [Refrain]

3 Ring out the tidings, all who know the joyful sound,
Tell it to others, how the precious pearl you found;
Let the glad message through the wide, wide world resound,
Come now to Jesus and believe. [Refrain]
