1 How precious the tho’t, when with sorrows we meet,
There’ll be sweet rest there;
Tho’ oft faints the spirit, and falter the feet,

The sigh of the mourner shall merge into song,

4 On that quiet shore, past the mad breakers’ foam,

No sorrow of earth shall be felt in the home,

5 Earth’s weariness soon shall forever be past,

The rest that “remaineth” we’ll enter at last,
