1 For there's four in our family,
Mother and Daddy and me.
Some think there's three,
But I know there's more.
There's four in our family,
'Cause Jesus is with us each day,
And Jesus is with us each night;
So Mother and Daddy And Jesus and me
Makes four in our family.

2 For there's four in our family,
Mother and Daddy and me.
Sometimes we three
Will all say a pray'r,
The pray'r of our family.
It's nice for the folks who are old,
But my pray'r, when my hands I fold,
Is, "Make me, Lord Jesus, Like you were, dear Lord,
When you were but nine years old."
