| Text: | Go Work To-day |
| Author: | W. R. Lindsay |
| Tune: | [Go work today; behold, the Master calleth] |
| Composer: | Geo. C. Stebbins |
1 Go work today; behold, the Master calleth;
Up and away to greet the morning light;
See, in the breeze the rip’ning grain is waving;
Go, while the summer days with hope are bright.
Refrain:
Go work today;
The Master calleth now to thee;
Go work today,
And glorious thy reward shall be.
2 Go work today; why tarry by the wayside?
Let us obey the Saviour’s earnest call;
Still labor on in sunshine or in shadow,
Lo, in the harvest there is work for all. [Refrain]
3 Go work today, our blessed Lord commands it,
Go in His name, relying on His love;
Then at the last, when all the sheaves are gathered,
Sweet will the resting be with Him above. [Refrain]
