1 ‘Tis Easter time, glad Easter time,
Let all the joy-bells ring,
Come, tell again the story old,
Of Christ, the risen King.

2 Refrain
All hail glad day, all hail glad day,
For Jesus lives! He lives!
As on that first bright Easter morn,
His joy and peace He gives.

3 Let children sing with happy hearts,
For Jesus loves their song,
They too may praise the risen Lord
With all the joyful throng.

4 The story old is ever new,
We tell it o’er and o’er,
And each returning Easter day,
We love it more and more.
