| Text: | The Sheaf and Crown |

| Tune: | [O sing to the Savior, loud anthems employ] |
| Composer: | Emma E. Meyer |
1 O sing to the Savior, loud anthems employ!
He came our salvation to bring;
Be ready to serve Him with ardor and joy,
And gather the sheaves for our King.
Refrain:
Then gather the sheaves
For daylight soon leaves,
The moments are flying on pinions so fleet;
With Jesus we’ll rest,
Eternally blest,
And lay down our sheaves at His feet.
2 The Master has bro’t us rich gifts from above,
No sorrow nor toil would He spare;
Then let us draw near Him with hearts full of love,
And labor with patience and prayer. [Refrain]
3 The harvest is ready, but reapers are few,
Now cheerfully, joyfully go;
We’ll carry our sheaves thro’ the bright, pearly gate,
Where Jesus our crowns will bestow. [Refrain]
