1 Hear the bugle calling,
Banners waving bright;
Comrades, we are forming,
Ready for the fight;
Let no fear of failure
Keep you from the fray,
For the Conq’ror Glorious
Leads us all the way.

Marching onward, bravely let us go,
Ever onward, we are armed against the foe,
For the Glorious Conqueror is He
Who will lead us on to victory.

2 See, the ranks are filling,
Gird your armor on;
You will need its safe-guard
Ere the fight is won:
Trusting in our Captain,
Banish doubt and fear,—
Tho’ we may not see him,
He is ever near. [Chorus]

3 Onward, then to battle,
Let us bravely go,
Ready for the conflict,
Armed against the foe;
Up with truth and honor,
Down with selfish deeds;
We may safely follow
Where our Conq’ror leads. [Chorus]
