In close communion
Lord with thee,
A joyful trust my heart doth fill,
New strength to do my Father’s will.

Alone with God! what joy to know,
Such sweet communion below,
To climb the holy heights of pray’r,
And find a blessing waiting for me there.

The little things that grieve me so,
To feel the touch of love divine,
