1 Don’t you hear them shouting vict’ry, all along the line?
‘Tis the army of the Lord, almighty throng;
Don’t you see their lifted banners in the sunlight shine,
As they sing their happy hallelujah song?

2 Don’t you hear them shouting vict’ry, in the forward ranks?
They are marching t’ward the Palace of the King;
To his blessed name ascribing glad and loving thanks
Trusting him for help that he will surely bring. [Refrain]

3 Don’t you hear them shouting vict’ry? God is on our side,
And we will not fear what evil foes may do;
We are safe if we but follow closely at his side,
He will be to ev’ry precious promise true. [Refrain]
