41. The Saviour's pleading

1 I can see my Saviour hanging on the cross of Calvary,
I can see Him slowly dying, as he died for you and me.

There are many ways before you
That may seem all right and good,
The only way that will save you
Is the way the Saviour trod.

2 I once was traveling down life's pathway,
Burdened down with life and sin,
Until my Saviour gently called me
To please come and walk with Him. [Refrain]

3 Sinner listen to this pleading
For He died for you and me,
Listen He is gently calling,
Sinner please come walk with Him. [Refrain]

4 He has promised to go with thee
Through this world's long weary way,
He will never forsake thee,
Sinner please pay heed today. [Refrain]
