1 Oh, sometimes my heart is filled with grief and sadness
When I see so many in this world that's lost
And I pray with all my heart, oh, blessed Saviour,
Take me thru whatever it may cost.

I'm too far out on my journey friends to ever
Think of turning back into this world of sin;
Tho I may not be the first one in God's Kingdom,
I'll be glad if I can only make it in.

2 Oh, it isn't to the once who pray the loudest,
Or the ones who speaks His words the best,
But His promise is to the true and the faithful
To the ones that overcomes and stands the test.

3 It's so dangerous to have your vision covered;
It's so dangerous to have a carnal mind
But if you follow in the footsteps of the Saviour,
Heaven can be yours as well as mine.
