1 When tempted and tried and discouraged,
When weary of self and of sin,
Let go and let Jesus fight for you,
Let Jesus the victory win.

Let go! Let go and trust in Jesus.

2 When clouds all around you are gath’ring,
When life seems as black as the night,
Let go and let Him take hold for you,

3 When sorely perplexed and disheartened,
From struggling and striving in vain,
Let go and let Jesus strive for you,
O’er sin He a triumph will gain. [Refrain]
