1 Down beside the crystal waters,
Led by Jesus, Lamb of God,
Gather now the saints to follow
Meekly in the path he trod.

2 Sweet indeed are hymns of praises,
Sweeter still to please the Lord;
And our hearts with love are glowing

To its follies bade adieu;
