1 We’re a band of busy children,
Ever working for our King;
We are faithful in hi service,
And we love to sweetly sing.

We are glad to lend a helping hand,
We’re the “Always Ready” Band!

2 To the church and school we’re loyal,
In our places always here;
And at every call for action,
We are first to volunteer. [Refrain]

3 Unto timid little strangers
Give we welcome quick and warm,
Keeping watch each day to rescue,
Precious lambs from sin and harm. [Refrain]

4 ‘Mid the poor and sad and lonely,
There is much that we can do,
If we’re ready, always ready,—
To our name and motto true. [Refrain]
