516. With Thankful Hearts, O Lord, We Come

1 With thankful hearts, O Lord, we come,
To praise Thy name in grateful song;
Accept the offering, Lord, we bring,
And help us loud Thy praises sing.

2 We thank Thee, Lord, for daily food,
For plenteous store of earthly good;
For life, and health, we still possess,
With house and home so richly blest.

3 We thank Thee for this goodly land,
Where freedom reigns on every hand;
De Thou, O Lord, our country bless,
With heavenly peace and righteousness.

4 We thank Thee for Thy blessed Word,
That to our souls doth life afford;
Help us its message to receive,
And from the heart its truth believe.

Amen.
