134. May grace be with us ever

1 May grace be with us ever, The grace of Christ, the Lord, May He, as here we journey, journey, His grace to us afford. 2 While on this narrow pathway For grace we do depend Upon the Lord and Saviour, Saviour, Who’ll lead us to the end. 3 For grace we still are trusting In Christ who can renew Our hearts when sad and weary, weary; We know the Lord is true. 4 Though sorrow be increasing In faith we look to Thee. Thou art the blessed Saviour, Saviour; Thy coming we would see! 5 Thy grace we need forever, Without it we would fail. In patience we shall conquer, conquer, Through faith we shall prevail. 6 No loss are we sustaining What we for Christ deny. For He in love and mercy, mercy, His grace shall e’er supply. 7 O Lord may it be pleasing, Though oft on Thee we call; Thy mercy we are pleading, pleading; Thy grace be with us all!
