We will not forsake him, tho' the world deride;
To the heav'nly mansions he has gone before,
To be scourged for sin no more.
We will follow Jesus to those mansions fair,
He a place hath promised for us to prepare,
He will come and take us with himself to be,
And his glory we shall see.
