Christopher Smart (1722-1771) is in all probability the eighteenth-century hymnwriter who has enjoyed the greatest burst of newfound popularity in the last 50 years. When I search for him, I get two results (one with, the other without dates), and the lists of hymns for each overlap oddly. Not sure how best to repair this, though it's obvious the two should become one.

The two are now one.
