CMBS, Tabor College, houses the Paul W. Wohlgemuth Hymnal and Songbook Collection, which includes the Herbert C. Richert collection, the Jonah Kliewer collection, and the Richard Cantwell collection. These collections are inter-denominational and broad-based, and include not only hymnals but also gospel songs, male voices, female voices, solos and duets, choir and chorus books. The strengths of the Wohlgemuth, Richert, and Kliewer collections are German-language hymnals and songbooks, published by and used in the worship of various Mennonite, Baptist, Evangelical, Lutheran and Reformed congregations. The strength of the Cantwell collection is Nazarene. The collection also includes to a lesser degree Anglican, Christian Science, Evangelical United Brethren (EUB), Moravian, Mormon, Pentecostal, Presbyterian, Roman Catholic, Independent and hymnals produced by organizations. Date range: 19th-21st c.
