I see that the text authority for this hymn, with text by Florence C. Armstrong and set to a variety of tunes, says "in that bright land of wonder", yet most of the page scans have simply "in that land of wonder" and a couple of them have "within that land of wonder". Julian doesn't cite enough of the first line to tell what he thought it should be, and he gives a title "[Longing for Heaven]" that I haven't yet found elsewhere. What is the truth of the matter?

I guess the truth would be the line as Armstrong originally wrote it, however, hymnals often change lines to the editors liking. The Hymnary standard is to use in the text authority the oldest line in our collection, but, for now, we're mostly using the lines used by DNAH until we can do more research.
