Dykes: Rian > Ryan!
When I search just for "Dykes", the results include a link for "Rian A. Dykes", yet it links to "Ryan A. Dykes". Odd.
Aha! Fanny!
I just found "Rian J. Dykes" in a list of common pseudonyms of Fanny Crosby's. Whaddaya wanna bet Rian A. Dykes is the same lady? As, apparently, is Rian J. Sterling...
Alice Montieth or Monteith
is another I've seen listed as a pseudonym of Fanny Jane's. For example, "Whoever Will" is #325 in Gospel Hymns Nos. 1 to 6 and is attributed to "A. Montieth", while #285 ("He is Coming") is attributed to "Alice Monteith". Searching the Hymnary for "Alice Monteith" turns up a person authority with no bio info, whereas searching for "A. Montieth" or just plain "Montieth" draws a complicated blank. First I'm asked if I meant "a. monteith" or "a. monteiro", then if I click on either of those I am told that the page does not exist...
