http://www.hymnary.org/tune/kirkbraddan_walker gives the date of this tune's composition as 1877, but the composer's bio page at http://www.hymnary.org/tune/kirkbraddan_walker gives his lifespan as 1848-1872. Is 1877 perhaps the date the the tune was published, rather than composed?

Our dates for Walker's life may not be correct. I'm not sure where they came from.
