Kirkwood for "Soldiers of Christ Arise"

You are here

I noticed that although there are 18 tunes listed with "Soldiers of Christ Arise", William B. Bradbury's Kirkwood (not the other Kirkwood) is not among them. It should be, since I know of at least 2 hymnals that use that tune for that hymn. In fact, that is the only tune I have heard it sung to. Bradbury's Kirkwood is on Hymnary, it just isn't listed with "Soldiers of Christ Arise".

Comments

We have not added the tunes from every hymnal. We are still working on this. I did find a hymnal that had "Soldiers of Christ arise" to the tune KIRKOOD - "The Standard Church Hymnal" from 1888 - and I have added it.
