George E. Baggett

George Edward Baggett was born May 17, 1928 in Memphis. He studied music at Harding College (now University), the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and the University of Oklahoma, culminating in a Doctor of Music Education degree. Baggett returned to Harding where he directed vocal and instrumental groups for decades. He also led singing at the Westside Church of Christ and conducted singing schools.
