Joh. B. Beyschlag

"Beyschlag, M. Johann Balthasar, was a deacon and preacher in Schwäbisch Hall. He died in 1717 on Sept. 14 at the age of 48 years. From his Gottgeheilgten Kirchen- und Hausandacht (Nuremburg 1699) come the hymns: 'Im Himmel ist gut wohnen'; 'Nur Flügel her, dem Himmel zu'; 'Es lebt ja noch der alte Gott'."
