Full name: Louisa Matilda Bradshaw. Matilda L. Bradshaw was from Hampstead. She was trained in music and for time was a professional singer. She played the harmonium for a local church in North London and devoted herself to teaching voice. She also compiled daily texts for The Christian Almanack. She prayed over each text, and they were a blessing to many.
