Gustafson, Emil. (Kräklinge, Sweden, July 12, 1862--May 5, 1900). Lutheran. Attended agricultural schools at Skeppsholmen and Lindsta. Gave up studies because of poor health. Became involved in writing and evangelistic work. Published three song collections. His hymns are concerned with the inner spiritual life and the consecration of the whole person. Author of "Avskild for min herres rakning" ("Consecrated to thy service").
