Hodge, Rev. Dwight Munson. (Salisbury, New York, August 10, 1846--June 11, 1906, Monson, Massachusetts). He studied at St. Lawrence University, 1866-1867; entered the Universalist ministry and held pastorates at North Adams, Mass., 1867-1870; Danbury, Connecticut, 1870-1880; New York City, 1880-1891; and at Franklin and Monson, Mass., 1891-1906. He wrote and published in a magazine a poem which, slightly altered, is included in Hymns of the Spirit (1937), beginning "Blow, winds of God, and bring us on our way." Three others are included in Church Harmonies: New and Old, 1895:
1. Almighty God! whose ways of old
2. In all we do, in all we dream
3. O Risen life, that in the flesh
