Marilyn Keiser

Marilyn Keiser is a concert organist. She grew up in Springfield, Illinois. She began her organ study under under Franklin Perkins, then attended Illinois Wesleyan University, graduating with a Bachelor of Sacred Music degree. She went on to Union Theologic Seminary in New York and earned a Masters of Sacred Music and a Ph.D. She served as an organist in churches in New York City and North Carolina, then started a 25 year career of teaching sacred music and applied organ at Indiana University, Bloomington. She has led many workshops across the country and been active in the American Guild of Organists.
