Missionary in Bengal, India, 1921-1936; president, Baptist Institute for Christian Workers, Philadelphia, 1936-1941; pastor, Brantford, Ont., 1941-1945; professor, McMaster (Missions and Religious Education), 1945-1963. Published many periodical articles, mostly on overseas missions.
