=========
David Loden was born into a Jewish family in Detroit. After converting to Messianic Judaism, he and his wife moved to Israel in 1974, where they founded the Beit Asaph community in Netanya. Loden pioneered the writing of songs in Hebrew for Messianic Jewish communities in Israel.
Loden was a pastor in the Beit Asaph community for thirty years. He also worked in classical music for some fifty years as a composer, producer, and conductor. He produced, among other things, an annual performance of Handel's Messiah, which he translated into Hebrew. In his more than seventy years as a professional musician, Loden has written numerous songs, which have been recorded on CD and, in translation, have become beloved worldwide. He originally published Liedboek 879 under the pseudonym Eric Glass.
