A British man, who was a Baptist from 1812 to 1834, a Scotch Baptist from 1834 to 1840, and thereafter a follower of Alexander Campbell and the American Disciples. He edited "The Christian Messenger and Reformer" until 1861. He also edited the first hymn book for British Disciples, titled "A Selection of Psalms and Hymns for the use of the Disciples of Jesus Christ " (1841).
